Subject Coaching Networks
Why join these networks?
Subject coaching networks are free one-day events held in each region and are led by highly skilled practitioners and facilitators.
They take place at least twice a year for Subject Learning Coaches.
They are a unique opportunity for you to make a real difference to teaching, training and learning in your organisation. It is also a great chance for you and others to be re-energised, inspired and stimulated.
Subject coaching networks provide a range of activities that support the continuing professional development of teachers and trainers. What is more, the networks are subject focused so participants can share best demonstrated practice with like-minded colleagues from different backgrounds across the learning and skills sector.
The networks also support Subject Learning Coaches who are on the Professional Training Programme.
Subject coaching networks are forums where you can:
- explore the teaching and learning resources developed for the programme
- try out new and creative approaches to teaching, training and learning in an inclusive and supportive environment
- network with other teachers and trainers to share your experiences, skills and knowledge of specific subject areas
- practise your coaching skills with your peers.
