Supporting whole organisation approaches

Resources for leaders and managers is a new, innovative and stimulating area which has been developed by the Learning and Skills Improvement Service (LSIS).  The resources located here are designed to help you harness the potential of the Teaching and Learning Programme (TLP) for whole organisation improvement in teaching, training and learning.  Leaders and managers and other experts working together on projects and at networks have designed approaches that focus thinking and discussion and aim to provide a fresh way of determining action for improvements. 

The resources foster a solution-focused approach so that you can examine what works well and why, and then plan to do more of the same.  If you find yourself locked into management conversations that focus only on problems you will find these approaches liberating.  They can generate analytical conversation and reflection, and help you to formulate plans for action that are based around shared ideals and objectives.  The resources can be used by managers at all levels in provider organisations.
