Join us for an exciting opportunity to hear from organisations across the learning and skills sector that have used the Subject Learning Coach (SLC) Programme to embed coaching and improve teaching and learning in their organisation.
We are bringing together some dynamic and innovative practitioners who have really made a difference to learner performance and who have enhanced professional development across a range of subjects and themes.
Find out about the latest developments in teaching and learning and witness a series of interactive presentations, where practitioners will share their ideas and demonstrate how they have used the SLC Programme. Network with fellow professionals, review the range of resources available, discuss funding, manager engagement and plan how to make the best use of the support available through the programme.
The event is open to:
- managers with a responsibility for CPD and performance;
- practitioners across the subject spectrum;
- practitioners and managers with responsibility for delivering the skills agenda;
- Advanced Learning Coaches (ALCs) and Subject Learning Coaches (SLCs) who want to widen their repertoire; or
- aspiring ALCs and SLCs.
There are three Excellence and Improvement in Teaching and Learning events taking place at:
- Manchester Renaissance Hotel -12 January 2010
- London Radisson Edwardian Bloomsbury Street Hotel -18 January 2010
- IET Birmingham Austin Court -19 January 2010
